Name: Listen and Count

Aim: To Identify the Beginning Sound(PHONICS)

Step: (Count Letter B words)

1. Have the students sit in a circle.

2. Ask the students to put their hands behind their backs.
    [T: Put your hands behind your back. 
    Ss: Put my hands behind my back.]

2. Tell the Ss to count the number of B Words the teacher reads.

3. Read a sentence within B words for the students to count.
    [Ex: Betty bought lots of balloons and balls.]

4. Walk around to check Ss' answerS and praise those who get the correct answer.

5. Repeat steps 2-4.
