Search & Read

Aim: Reading Practice

Materials: Text books only

Steps:
    1. Divide the Ss into two(or more) teams and number them.
    2. Write a word on the board and have Ss read it or read the word for the Ss to repeat.
    3. Have the Ss find a sentence with the word in it and call a number.
    4. The Ss called run to the front and read the sentence.
    5. The first one who does it correctly gets a point for his/her team.

Note: Some words may show up in more than one sentence.
           The teacher may either not to choose the word 
                        or allow the Ss to decide which sentence to read out.
