Name: Turn & Read

Aim: To review the vocabulary

Materials: Word Cards or Picture Cards

Steps:

1. Divide the Ss into two teams and number them.
2. Invite the first students from each team to the front, draw a card without letting others see it.
3. Have the two Ss back to back and urge the rest of the Ss to count down (3-2-1-Go).
4. When "Go" is shouted, the two player turn around to read the word they see in the other player's hand.
5. The first one who reads it correctly gets 2 points while the slower player gets one.
6. invite the next Ss from each team to the front and repeat steps 3-5.
7. The team with more points wins.

[It's an exciting game and the players need to read the words by themselves.
The words for both players are different.
Thus, neither of the player will just repeat what the other player says.]
