      Name: Turn around and around
                                                                               
      Aim: to be familiar with any chant, songs, or some stories
           [i did it after telling "Does a kangaroo have a mother, too?"]
                                                                               
      Materials: none (or some picture/word cards to give some hints)
                                                                               
      Procedure:
                                                                               
          1. have all the Ss (and the teacher) make a circle, hand in hand.
                                                                               
          2. walking clockwise as the teacher is reading the story
             (may have the Ss read along if they are able to)
                                                                               
          3. turn aroud when hearing a certain word and keep walking
                                                                               
          4. repeat the third step till the end of the story.
                                                                               
         [In my case, "too" was the key word at first.
         And in the second round, I made "mother" the key word.
                                                                                
         Before starting the activity, i put the animal cards on the floor,
         and pretended that i couldn't see the the cards clearly while walking,
        so that some students would try to tell me what the next animal was.
                                                                                
         They felt like they were helping me but not practice the names of the
        animals.
                                                                                
         And other students would just try to read the story happily.
         Even the slowest student would answer,
                             "Yes! A ___ has a mother, just like me and you."
         They knew what the animal was from my question. ]
