　　　　MY FAVORITE NOVEL
　　There are a lot of novels in the world. There are many different kinds of novels in the world, too, like science, Kung－fu and so on. Among them, Harry Potter, written by a famous, woman named J. K. Rowling, is my favorite novel. Moreover, it is now the most famous novel in the world. 
　　There are seven books of Harry Potter’s story. They are “The Philosopher stone”, “The Chamber of Secrets”, “The Prisoner of Azkaban”, “The Goblet of Fire”, “The Order of the Phoenix”, “The Half－Blood Prince” and “the Deathly Hallows”. I’ve read the first six books of them and I’m looking forward to the final one. The story is about the adventures of Harry Potter and his close friends, Ron and Hermione, in a school of magic named Hogwarts. Harry’s an orphan. His parents were killed by an evil, terrible wizard named Voldemort. Voldemort and his followers, the Death Eaters, did a lot of bad things in the magic world. Harry was the only survivor in his family, so Voldemort wanted to kill him. Luckily, the principal of Hogwarts was a great, smart wizard named Albus Dumbledore. He always helped Harry whenever he was in trouble.
　　In the long journey of fighting with evil Voldemort, we can see the friendship among Harry and his partners and how Harry’s parents loved him.  Though they were no longer alive, they still had left him something precious which taught him to be brave, kind and strong.
　　After reading the story, I learned to be brave and confident while facing difficulties. From the strong friendship among Harry and his friends, I truly understand that “a friend in need is a friend indeed” and realize the importance of friendship. Furthermore, we have to be kind and generous to others in order to get along with people well. This is really an amazing story with wisdom, courage, friendship, justice and happiness. I think J. K. Rowling wants to tell us an important thing, “facing the world with love will make yourself a better person and make the world more beautiful.
